Description
A full-scale interpretation of Uesugi Kenshin's iroiro-odoshi haramaki, built around black-lacquered honkozane and layered silk lacing in varied colors. The rust-toned thirty-two-plate suji kabuto is crowned with a gold-leaf wooden Iizuna Gongen crest. Across the dō, sode, kusazuri, and haidate, color and structure form a measured rhythm, giving the armor a composed sculptural presence.
