徳川秀忠 | Tokugawa Hidetada Armor
Artwork Name
徳川秀忐
Tokugawa Hidetada
Description
A full-scale interpretation of Tokugawa Hidetada's armor, composed through the restrained luminosity of smoked silver leaf, gold leaf, and white silk. Honkozane scales define the do, shikoro, nodowa, sode, and kusazuri, while a cloud-shaped crest rises above the twenty-eight-plate kabuto. Contrasting metallic finishes bring depth to its precise structure, creating a composed and quietly reflective presence.
