Description
A full-scale interpretation of Honda Tadakatsu’s armor, defined by a hand-aged black finish and an elongated kabuto with wooden deer-antler wakidate. Black silk lacing structures the leather-wrapped shikoro, iyozane dō, eight-tier ōsode, and kusazuri. A gold-finished wooden juzu encircles the dō, introducing a quiet contrast to the dark, layered composition and its commanding vertical form.
