Minamoto no Yoshitsune Honkozane O-Yoroi Utsushi
Description
A full-scale interpretation of Minamoto no Yoshitsune's honkozane o-yoroi. Black-lacquered individual scales and red silk lacing define the dō, seven-tier ōsode, and layered kusazuri, while brass kuwagata frame the sixteen-plate kabuto. Domestic deerskin across the tsurubashiri adds material depth to the classical structure, creating a composed work of armor with a clear sculptural presence.
