Description
A full-scale interpretation of Naoe Kanetsugu's armor, centered on a brown-lacquered sixty-two-plate suji kabuto and a gold-leaf “Ai” crest formed in copper and brass. White silk lacing and gilded scales define the sode and kusazuri, finished with bands of yak hair. The contrast of brown lacquer, gold, white silk, and natural texture creates a refined, sculptural composition.
