Ashikaga Takauji Honkozane O-Yoroi Utsushi
Description
A full-scale interpretation of Ashikaga Takauji’s honkozane o-yoroi. Black-lacquered individual scales are composed with tsumadori lacing across the dō, six-tier ōsode, and kusazuri. The thirty-two-plate kabuto carries gilt kuwagata, while domestic deerskin bearing a Fudo Myoo design appears on the fukigaeshi and tsurubashiri, bringing pictorial depth to the armor’s precise classical structure.
